GD The Wildcafs Lair With a victorious S-s-s Meow the mighty Wildcat re- turns to his lair after the fray. It is here he is inspired to go forth and iight for spoils with which to adorn it. When this King of Beasts approaches, all the other animals of the neighboring dens, kennels, and cages prepare for a terrific battle. If they are able to draw blood at all, it is only after a mighty conflict. Whether the spoils be material trophies or honor and glory Won by fair play and good sportsman- ship, he is always eager to scratch and bite his way through the foe to bring them back to the lair. 1 8
