ath Department obtains new books for Algebra Freshman David Carpenter shows his classmates in second period Algebra I how to work out a problem on the graph board. This year Central acquired new Algebra I and II books. The Algebra I book is a revised edition and is in the Dolciani series as before. The Algebra II book is also in the same series but is much more sophisticated than the revised edition. New innovations have been explored but none are being used because the returning college students seem to be well prepared for more advanced math courses. Freshman Steve Callis asks for Mrs. Beaumont's assistance on a math problem during his second hour Algebra I class.
