Language classes carol through halls at Christmas Senior Cindy McClean receives help on a homework paper from her sixth hour French II Teacher, Mrs. Eleanor Shipps. Central High School offered French, Spanish, Ger- man, and Latin to students. This year there was a demand for third year classes in Spanish and German and fourth year classes in Latin and French. During the Christmas season, the French classes caroled at Eat Hills, State Hospital, PEO House, and Noyes Home. retain All-American standing First and second semester Outlook staffs each numbered fourteen, the largest staffs ever. These mem- bers met every day to publish a bi-weekly newspaper that informed the students of the past events of the school. Students must have one semester of journalism before he can become a member of the staff. Outlook staff received the All-American rating for publishing an excellent and interesting paper. S Second semester Outlook editors Sam Bell and Mike Saunders show Mrs. Florence McCoy a layout to get her final approval. Second and third page editors, Pam Hatfield, Larry Harman, and Roxy Martin collaborate on a headline for a feature article. ,ea 1' ' ff 'wi .S Outlook members 'Bob Glaze, Nancy Stuber, Debbie David. and Lynn Martin review a past edition of the school news- paper.
