Mrs. Jane Voss sponsored trips to area art galleries to study works on display. Students toured St. Joseph's Albrecht Gallery to see an exhibit of Chinese painting and also went to the Nelson Art Gallery in Kansas City. These visits tie the current developments in art to the studentis application of his talent. Mrs. Voss and Miss Jane Blackwell instruct Art I stu- dents in basic fundamentals of drawing, design, color, and painting, and studies in art history.
