The main piece of literature Freshmen read is Homer's Odyssey, while Sophomores read Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Juniors review gram- mar, learn to express their thoughts through speech or drama, study American literature, and Widen their understanding of man and his heri- ta e. g Seniors may choose from English 12, English literature, drama, or speech. English 12 students review grammar and study the literature of En- gland. In English literature, students study the Works of Shakespeare and other great English masters.
