Priscilla Evans, eggy Bumphrey, othstein, and Co- ing Sharon Heath the next edition of Newspaper receives first-class rating Interviews, news-gathering, printer, paste- ups, proofreading, and deadlines-all must be faced by the members of Central's first and second semester Outlook staff. The editors and page edi- tors of the school newspaper meet frantic deadlines every other week in order to present Centralites the news and events of school life. The highlight of this year's Outlook staff was the day it received a special greeting card at Christ- mas time from Central's favorite puppy, Snoopy, a Carl Schultz creation. Bill Gardner, Karen Stuber, Sue Lott, and Howard Hines, go through the files to check on the number of inches of ads. Page-editors Sally Ness, Valerie Watkins, and Marsha Rowe talk over the headline sizes to use on the next news copy. First page editors Pam DeShon, Jerry Johnson, Joyce Roth John Swain go through the page filing cabinet before starting to work on their page make-up for their first Outlook. Co-editors Pam Hallberg and Catherine Hayward' have the job of proofreading copy and writing editorials for the paper. Tim Walley, Barbara Boyts, Sharon DenOuden, Susan Jackson, and Lana Guyer look at and discuss the various objects, awards, and news items on the staffs bulletin board. 7
