With a semester of straight journalism behind them, the students put into practical use during second semester the theories presented them. Interviewing important people, gathering newsy items, writing follow-ups on important events, doing paste-ups, reading copy, and selling ads are a few of the facets involved in putting out a paper. The Wakitan serves as a bound scrapbook of another year at school, another book of memories. Sponsored by Mr. Linus Dowell and edited by Phyllis johnson and Caroline Martin, the Wakitzln patrol moves forward. Every day, sixth period, the Wakitan office begins to hum with activity.
