MR. WALTER HALVERSON Vice-Principal Uncle Sam's loss, Central's gain describes Central's new vice-principal, Mr. Walter Halverson. A man of many tasks and talents, Mr. Halverson does a wonderful job in fulfilling his manifold duties in the fields of discipline, attendance, school finance, building maintenance, and athletic direction. These are iobs which require seemingly endless patience, good iudgment, and a deep sense of perspective. Central is indeed for- tunate to have a man so qualified and interested in his work as Mr. Halverson. !5 X h- X . DOROTHY GRAHAM Mrs. Graham's position as Dean of Girls is one of great importance at Central. Her many responsibilities keep her going at a steady pace. Every day many problems are brought to her, but no matter how busy she is, she finds time to give each student words of advice and encouragement. She has a natural liking for young people, is consid- erate and sympathetic, and has a delightful sense of humor. Mrs. Graham's other duties include spon- soring the Student Council, teaching speech and psychology, and supervising the dance hall and other outside engagements affiliated with school. Mrs. Graham is indeed one of the important cogs in the wheel which main- tains Central's efficient, smooth-running system. ,X
