A seem- ingly endless road lies ahead of the graduating class as they go forth leaving unforgettable foot- prints in the halls of Central. Members of the Class of '54 scattered their tal- ents and industries in various phases of school activities. Some lent their efforts to student gov- ernment, others to dramatics and musical presen- tationsg still others contributed to the field of sports, while all exercised their abilities in the classroom and strived toward one goal-to live up to the motto of Central High School, Virtus ex Doctrina CVirtue through Learningb. In order to raise money for a class gift, a Sen- ior Variety Show was presented. The show, which was entirely a student production, was based on the theme of the Mardi Gras. VVith the proceeds from the presentation, the Senior Class of 1954 purchased a scoreboard which was given to the school by Class President Danny Doan. Thus, they leave these sacred portals ever mind- ful of the vital experiences they have gained through these opportunities which have added to the enrichment of their lives. Parse 21
