GIBBINS Principal 'W lt is well known that the most respected and most honored man of an Indian tribe is their leader, the Chief. The leader of an Indian tribe must be great and strong in character, for it is he who must guide his people wisely. The same is true of our chief, Mr. Gibbins. During his eight years as principal, he has gained the respect, admiration, and confidence of both the students and faculty. He has proved himself a person very capable of leading his tribe wisely and carrying out the responsibilities and obliga- tions that rest upon a person who holds that posi- tion. Because of his ready smile and sincere in- terest in the students, our chief will long be re- membered. The students of Central High are proud to claim this man their leader and chief for 1951 and 1952. Page 9
