To gain admittance, the candidates must apply and be voted upon by the club. If their applications are accepted they are required to submit a draw- ing made during the club meeting at which they were originally proposed. The draw- ing must then be presented to the club for discussion of its originality and merit. The prospective member is not admitted until the drawing is accepted by a majority vote of the club. Because of its limited membership the club has not entered into any great activi- ties. The first semester, its project was a calendar illustration with block prints made by the members of the club. The second semester, a detailed study of the human figure was made under the direction of Miss Hester Robinson, sponsor.
