II 'III IIIIIIIIIIII as, YM I I I I 'IIIIIII eflolenowlerfgemenfy 37 , WE of the l927 Tom Tom staff reviux our work, we hope We have expressed the message of the seven objectives of sec- ondary education through the medium of the Spirit of Character, the Spirit of Citizenship, the Spirit of Leisure, the Spirit of Home, the Spirit of Work, the Spirit of Research, and the Spirit of Health, clothed in their robes of purple, blue, green, gold, and red. In the class sections we have identified every student in our school, but in succeeding sections we have represented the school activity rather than the participant. If We have wrought wisely and well, we realize that it is because we have had the co-operation and good will of others. We wish to express our very sincere appreciation to those who have helped us: the Board of Education, who made possible the publication of the Tom Tomy the patrons, who aided in financing it, lVIiss Isabel Ronan and Mr. Merle Prunty, from Whose pageant Youthft Challenge we derived the plan of the book, Mr. R. C. Walker and the Southwestern Engrav- ing Company, to whom we owe the beautiful engravings, Mr. Ed lvliller and lVIr. F. B. George who preserved for us in picture form a record of our high school activities, Mr. W. W. Graham and his helpers, who published this book in the High School Print Shop, Mr. R.
