From freshman induction to grodu- otion, the Class of 1989 has found the strength to make these high school years some of the best of our lives. We have made the effort it takes to make our senior year the best it can be. However, each individual or Cen- trol put forth every effort to make our school strong and excel or everything we do. One of the most important tasks of the yearbook staff is choosing 0 theme, The purpose of the theme is to unify the book,- therefore, we must decide upon 0 theme that will sum Up our years at Central. HThe Golden Years seemed to sum up everything. Each year has held a certain Hgolden memory that we will always remember. It is up to the individ- ual to decide upon the memory which has mode this year 0 Hgolden one. We must remember that only the years come on end. The special memo- ries and friendships will lost forever, The rest of our lives lie before us with many exciting opportunities Serving as suc- cessful leaders at Central hos prepored us for any possibilities that will lie in whatever path we choose to take. Central 15 full of mony troditionol activities. Prom is 0 time when we are able to pull out our formols which have been sit- ting in the hall closet from 0 previous occo- sion. This is just one of the many traditions of Central High School. As Closs Doy comes around, everyone becomes aware of the end of the year. For some, it is the end of high school years, and the beginning of 0 new life filled with col- lege or work. For others, it isjust the begin- ning of their high school career. As soon as the words iicloss dismissed are said by Principal Joon Finch, the memo- ries of the ending school year end the vis- ions of on exciting future race through our minds. For the seniors, however, the year does not really end until Commencement. The years when one is being prepared for iithe real world are summed up in one cer- emony.
