musical comedy Sandy Smith, Nancy Lukens and Jim Floyd had the leads in the Vhristmas Pageant. Sandy played the part ol' Mary in the upperclassmen's assembly and Nancy played Mary in the freshman assemhly. Joseph was played hy Jim in Inoth pageants. Ilirector ot' the pageant was Miss tllema Mote. Miss Mote wrote it several years ago and it has heen presented annually since then. Shepherds were John Tegarden, Fred Freels and Roger Karch. Kings were Mike Cooper, Kent Cherry and .Iohn Marynell. The angels were portrayed hy Mary Ann Searles, Margo Maier, Donna Miller, and Terry Theiring. Voncert Choirs A Sz B sang the hackground music for the pageant, The readers were Barhara Gold- man, Edith Wood, Sara Miller, Ju- dith Peach, and Carlena Butler. Jewell Famphell sang the Ave Maria. The Musical Comedy for this year was zz rousing success. rave no- tices were the rule instead of the exception. The comedy, entitled The Prince of Pilsen, was set in the early lfltltls, in France. The plot centered around a Texas oilman, and a Prince, The l'rince ol' Filson. Mix up and misadventurc is the keynote as the oilman is mistaken for the prince, and the prince assumes an- other identity in order to find out what the whole thing is all ahout. The musical was directed hy Iliad t'hal'i'in. In the cast pictured helow are, left to right: George li.
