uzzzor CASS jfsfory On August 27 1954 the Jumor year for the class of 56 started There were Junxors but Don Ramer and Thomas Keller dropped out 1n September B111 Ballard trans ferred to Elgrn rn February At the frrst meetrng Bob Bames was elected Presrdent John Johnson Vrce Presrdent Ronald Hartmann Secretary Nancy Butts Treasurer and Lynn Laseman Student Councrl Representatrve Mr Jones Mrss Cole and Mr Connolley were chosen the class advrsors The class sponsored a free dance wh1ch was held after one of the basketball games They also sold barbecues every Tuesday and Thursday of each week Ted Kohl and Joyce Mrller were the Junror attendants for the Krug and Queen at the Homecomtng Game About two weeks before Chnstmas some very happy Junrors recerved therr class nngs The boys that partrcrpated rn football were Bob Bames Lloyd Atherton B111 Ballard Donald Burnell Jrm Murrhead Howard Hoffman and Clarence Mobley The boys that went out for basketball were Bob Bames Donald Burnell Ted Kohl Mobley Carol Ahrens Joyce Mrller and Janrce Olrver were the Jumor Senror cheerleaders thrs year The Jumor Class Play was held rn May The class also sponsored the annual Jumor Senror Prom on May 20 1955 wrth the Semors as therr guests As the Junrors go through the doors of Central Hrgh School to spend a happy summer they warn the teachers that they wrll be back next year to grve them Just as much trouble as before OFFICERS JOHN JOHNSON Vrce Presrdent BOB BARNES Presrdent NANCY BUTTS Treasurer RONNIE HARTMAN Secretary Z.-I 'b' , , ' ' . 37 Lynn Laseman, Nook Herrmann, Jim Muirhead, Elroy Busche, Bill Ballard, and Clarence 4 It ,
