Coming back on August 26 1954 with the title of seniors we had twenty-two kids in the class. Bill Paar transferred to Elgin and Irene Reiser entered from Chicago Donna Liebert left school in February Frank Colson was elected President- Elaine Otto Vice President- Corrine Patrick Secretary- and Rita Ann Haderer Treasurer Frank Colson and Beverly Anderson were student council mem bers Frank was president of the orgamzation Mr Herstrum Mrs Bavery and Mrs Drawhon were class advisors At the Homecoming game 1n October Frank Colson and Beverly Anderson were chosen King and Queen On November 19 1954 we presented the class play The Calamity Kids directed by Miss Cole and Mrs Drawhon Beverly Anderson received the D A R Award A senior girl was crowned the lovely queen of the Winter Formal in March We were tl1e guests of the Juniors at the Prom Held May 20 1955 Baccalaureate on May 29 Commencement on May 31 brought our four years to a close As we look back we have many precious memones some happy and odrers sad We are and future as we go out into the world OFFICERS Elaine Otto Vice President Frank Colson President Rita Haderer Treasurer Comne Patnck Secretary thankful for these years, the knowledge and rich experience that we have gained to help us in the

ezzzor GQJJ H6101 y On August 30 1951 the frrst freshman class of Central I-hgh School consrstrng of thrrty mem bers entered the halls to begrn four years of rndustrrous study At the frrst class meetrng we elected the followrng offrcers Beverly Anderson Presrdent Frank Colson Vice Presrdent Mary Meyer Secretary Treasurer Wally Rohrschnerder Student Councrl and B111 Sunderlage Reporter Mrss Lawson was elected Class Advrsor We became offrcral members of Central Hrgh when we were 1n1t1ated at an all school party grven by the setuor class In November we sponsored a very successful Camrval for the entrre school Two class parues were held dunng the year The boys partrcrpatxng rn athleucs were Brll Paar B111 Sunderlage Roger Chapman, Roger Beu John Ross and Jrm Butt Dunng the year Roger Chapman dropped out and George Herrmann transferred to Genoa We returned as sophomores on August 29 1952 Paul Dreckman and Ann Shafer farled to re tum The class offrcers were Presrdent Frank Colson Vrce Presrdent Elarne Otto Secretary Mary Meyer Treasurer Mane Undrener Mr Caywood and Mr Kuchera were chosen as Class Advrsors Beverly Anderson and Frank Colson served on the Student Councrl We sponsored two all school partxes du.r1ng the year A sweater and sock dance was held rn October and a roller skatrng party rn February The hrghhght of the year was the Annual Spnng Dance sponsored by the sophomores A semor The boys who pamcrpated rn football thrs year were Leon Lenschow, Roger Beu and B111 Sun derlage The boys playrng Frosh Soph basketball were Wally Rohrschnerder B111 Sunderlage B111 Paar Leo Lenschow and Dave Granqurst John Ross served as manager and Mary Meyer as cheerleader We were saddened bv the death of our classmate and frrend B111 Sunderlage who was krlled on Apnl 4 1953 We returned as upperclassmen on August 28 1953 Nancy Lretzow and Dave Granqurst farled to retum John Ross transferred to Mt Morrrs and Donna Lerbert entered from Barrmgton Jrm Butt left 1n January At the first class meetrng of the year the followrng offrcers were elected Wally Rohrschnerder Presrdent Elarne Otto Vrce Presrdent Mary Meyer Secretary Mane Undrener Treasurer Beverly Anderson Frank Colson and Wally Rohrschneider were Student Councrl members Mrs Mrller and Mr Ganshrrt were elected class advrsors An all school skatrng party rn DeKalb and one 1n Elgrn were sponsored by our class About two weeks before Christmas vacatron we recerved our class nngs Boys who partrcrpated in football and basketball were Wally Rohrschnerder leo Lenschow Leon Lenschow and B111 Paar In the spnng we sponsored a magazrne dnve to rarse money for the Prom A toy French poodle named Maga Z1ne was the mascot Sprder Island the class play was held May '7 1954 The cast rncluded srx grrls and was drrected by Mrss Hawkins We sponsored the tradruonal Jumor Senror Prom at the Elgin Country Club on May 21 1954 On May 29 we left for a summer vacatron to prepare ourselves for our fourth and frnal year , , . .
