a 67 Zreshmvn ffzsfary Xi Z f On August 28 forty seven green freshmen entered the hallowed halls of Central They held a council of war and selected Dale Marshall President Gene Scott Vice Presi dent Arnold Hemple Secretary Treasurer and Patsy Long as Student Council Repre sentative 1953 All freshmen were dressed in cardboard cartons decorated by themselves and each did a separate stunt First prize went to Karen Schairer and Alan Olson for being the best dressed boxes in the crowd Lipstick smeared the freshies were now a part of Central On November 20 the class sponsored a Sadie Hawkins Day dance which was probably inspired by the class sponsor Helen Sadie Hawkins This the first girl boy shindig of the year was enjoyed by all The class now is preparing for next year when they will return as Slap happy Sopho mores s ,Q ' R5 1 .'.
