President, Gurvice Clark Secretary, Sue Harris Vice-President Tillman Housten Treasurer, Mary Anne Bentley On September 6, l96O, two hundred forty proud seniors enrolled for the last time at Central High. We began the year by selecting four-capable officers to lead us. Chosen as President was Gurvice Clark, Vice President, Tillman l-lousteng Secretary, Sue Harris, and Treasurer, Mary Anne Bentley. To guide us this last year we had Mr. Ray Mount, Mrs. Nell Coulter, Mr. Henry Flemina and Mrs. Gerald Freeman to be our sponsors. At the flrst of November we elected Mary Anne Bentley who reigned as queen at the homecoming game. The time kept slipping by and flnally the Christmas holidays arrived. Everyone enjoyed refreshments and entertainment at our farewell Christmas party, Toys were bought as gifts for the needy children. Soon our holidays were over and the old routine began again. In January Janice Sinquefleld and Sandra Ford were chosen to represent us at the Jordan-Central game for Bas- ketball Queen. Janice was crowned Queen. Elected as our class favorites were Anne Murphy and Jack Blau, who were chosen on the basis of Charm and Per- sonality. Anne Murphy and Jack Blau were honored to have the title of Mr. and Miss Central. The last days of our Senior year we found ourselves with mixed emotions. There were a few nervous laughs and quite a few tears, then at last but all too soon we were on our own.
