ROW ONE: Gordon Sinclair, John Haskell, vice president, Carolyn Bahle, secretary, Frances Udvarnoky, treasurer, Roger Greenberg, president, Lee Lathrop, John Rockwell. ROW TWO: Dick Elliot, Marilyn Curtis, Sally Smith, Shirley Sessink, Barbara Hurd, Bill Symons, Tobert Hamady, Zona Beams, Beverlie Price, Connie Brown, Carol Cook, Jerry Clapp. Class of I953 Ah-who could forget our Senior Prom or Com- mencement? We worked hard, but there was fun along with the work-remember the Charleston num- ber or the boys' ballet in our senior section of the 1953 Talent Show? We all bought announcements and announcement cards to help pay for our Prom. The Senior Play, The Curious Savage, was about the funniest thing ever presented-didnlt you think so? Our Senior Couple Dance was something never to forget with the Circus theme carried out in the decorations and refreshments. Then, of course, at what we all thought was long last, came the Honor's Assembly, the Senior Picnic, Senior Sing, Baccalaure- ate, and Commencement all crammed into one last wonderful week. Our ofiicers throughout this eventful year were Roger Greenberg, president, John Haskell, vice president, Carolyn Bahle, secretary, and Frances Udvarnoky, treasurer. Let's go back to the preceding year. We were all the well-versed Juniors-remember? Our officers for that year began the same with Roger Greenberg as president, Lee Lathrop, vice president, Audrey Snipes, secretary, and Carolyn Parker, treasurer. Together we worked for a successful junior Prom through a hanger drive, the Junior Play The Doctor in Spite of Himself, and by collaborating with the seniors on the first Junior-Senior talent show to be presented at Central. Now to go way back to that first year of looking down strange halls and fearing the great big SEN- IORS. Our oflicers way back then were Roger Greenberg CAGAINU, president, Al Lubowitz, vice president, Elena Marshall, secretary, and Sally Smith, treasurer. But even in our sophomore year we were a first-and this was to be the first Central sophomore class to make money!
