Old soldiers never die we are told. To some, your teachers seem to live forever! But we of the faculty do experience a certain immortality. In the course of our professional lives some of us can expect to see forty classes of students gradu- ate. The years may add wrinkles and gray or remove our hair, but the wonderful adventure of dealing with enthusiastic youth keeps our spirits young. Each graduating class has con- tributed during its three years toward making our lives richer and fuller. We are grateful to you, the Class of 1952, for your contribution to this school and to us. Because there has never been a time when science has brought so many changes in such a short period of time, you have a difficult job cut out for you.
