DUKE PARKER Student Union President SUE SCOFIELD Secretary IAY ANGLE Vice President IANICE GERHOLZ Corresponding Secretary STUDENT UNION The purpose of the Student Union as stated in the Constitution is this It shall be the purpose of this organization to bring together in one group the various extra class GCllV1l1eS of the student body of the school and make such act1v1t1es representative of the entire school as a unit to solidify and unite the interests of the school Students who buy a mem bership in this organization are buying their admission to most of Central s many and varied activities athletic events assemblies dances parties the Arrow Head and the right to vote and run for offices in the school The election of class officers and officers of the Student Council the legislative body of the Student Union takes place in the tall After a vigorous campaign the following officers for the Student Council were chosen President Duke Parker Vice President Iay Angle Record ing Secretary Sue Scofield and Corresponding Secretary Ianice Gerholz The President Duke Parker has a burn ing desire to become a lawyer His spare time is filled with singing and selling shoes All sports and music rate high on his list of favorites. Strangely his greatest thrill was being run over by a truck. Iay Angle is an ambitious fellow with a very high aim: vice-president of the United States. Performing magic tricks is only one of his amusing hobbies. Iay left us about the middle of the school year and moved to Royal Oak. Our Student Union recording secretary is blonde, Sue Scofield. This talkative little Iunior hopes to become a professional ice skater someday and in the meantime 1S devoting her talent to Flints figure skating club She enyoys singing and swimming too Ianice Gerholz Corresponding Secretary A sports fan she rates hor e back riding and ice skating favorites Stardust and the color blue are considered tops by this brown haired miss whose ambition 15 to become a nurse Ianice is also a member of the Attic Players Vigorous campaigns precede the school elections
