BOARD OF DIRECTORS Despite the fact that the Board of Directors of each class is not well known, this body has an important part to play in the smooth functioning of such a large school as Cen- tral. The purpose ot this organization is to make decisions concerning the activities of a particular class and to carry them out. The Sophomore Board of Directors for the present graduating class planned the Sopho- more Student Union Party under the leader- ship of Stacey DeCamp, its president. Assist- ing Stacey with the arrangements were the other officers: Dorothy lohnson, vice-presi- dent: Bethany Fraser, secretary: and Dolly Stone, treasurer. The Iunior Board of Directors for the class of 1943 concerned itself principally with their lunior Play, Bab. The board in 1942 was headed by Philip Van Kersen. Dorothy Iohn- son repeated for vice-president: Dolly Stone moved up to secretary, while Donna Merrill took charge of the treasury. When it comes to deciding details of gradua- tion, the Senior Board of Directors is kept exceedingly busy. The members must lay all plans for the senior dance and make ar- rangements for the annual Baccalaureate. The Senior Board also chooses the class colors and announcements. In addition to their other tasks this group must assist with the Commencement Exercises. Supervision of these activiities was the duty of Phillip Van Kersen, who was re-elected president of his class. Elizabeth Clark, loyce Macy, and Don- na Merrill were vice-president, secretary, and treasurer, respectively.
