AN EDITORIAL FAREWELL Once more we adhere to the usual custom and last farewell. As many have said it is a hard thing We can recollect the happy spent in the spacious and well-venti lated two-by-four Prvor sanctum, that unused closet, originally meant for a spare stock room, and our heart cannot possibly bear the thought of leaving it. Then, again, there floats back to our reminiscent mind the first time the ORGAN was played. We can recall the many times we detention for coming late to our classrooms because of some “foolish, insignifi cant Pivot duty. Tears of sorrow overwhelm us when we remember that those delightful six o'clock trips to the printer are over, and that we must once more settle down to the distasteful task of getting home for dinner on time. Then when we consider the thought of losing that vague, empty title which goes under the name Honor, secured only by toil, hours, express our words of others before us, to say good-bve hours w« were given ceaseless long sleepless nights and adverse criticism, there arises a feeling of regret that our period of work is Yet, of our trouble has become dulled, and our petty Over. to become serious, when the keen edge trials have been forgotten, we shall always re- member our experiences with a feeling of satis- faction, and rejoice in the fact that we did our best for CENTRAL and Tue Pivor. With these last words, THe Prvor board of January 1933 takes its humble leave, trusting that its successors will keep THE Pivor the impartial and democratic magazine its present editors have endeavored (with success, we hope) to make it. The occasion was when Market Street High School students visited Central to be entertained by Dr. Smith by hearing the ORGAN. That was the early part of 1930. To be one of this large student body was my chief desire, but Time Marches On i And now—to think that it’s all over. Ah, me was in MINNIE POSNER.
