'Tis Act 3—Scene 1 (Same as Act 2— Scene 1, Above London) ( Pat extricates an object from a bundle and lets it gingerly over the side of the ship by means of a rope. He decreases the altitude of the plane and wings his way in graceful curves above the home of Silas Slick- shoe. His eyes are smarting with the strain of picking out objects in the dark and identifying them. He locates the ploughshare, the hayrick, the mowing ma- chine and just as he is about to give up in despair he sees the object of his search. He maneuvers his machine with such accuracy that the immense anchor at the end of the rope catches the flivver squarely amidships. Then the plucky little plane strives to rise with the added burden. ) Pat—' 'Now that we've accomplished our mission 'twould be heart br-reakin' to lose the Henr-ry.”” (The ship rises slowly.
