Class of '60 The sophomore class officers for the year l957-58 were Tony Iohnson, President: Ann Ba- menofsky, vice president: Barbara Kelly, secretaryp and Doris Bailey, Treasurer. Our Class was under the efficient and well handled guidance of Mr. Ioe Garcia and Mrs. Mabel Blue. The Sopho- more Class Council met almost every week to make important decisions on class matters. Various money raising projects were tackled by the class with immense success: the most outstanding of which was the Snow-Cone sale which netted over S100 in profit for the classes numerous activities. The highpoint of this year for our class was the big South Pacific Swing . A tremendous success, the dance featured such things as a Hawaiian orchestra-Kay Kalani and the Beach- combers, REAL Hula Dancers, and lets as souveniers. Refreshments were served by the P.T.A. All in all, the sophomore class has made this year a most successful one. This, though, has only come about because of the diligence and resourcefulness of our members. We have been a part of the origin of Central's traditions and have helped to establish a goal for future classes to achieve. Again We thank our sponsors: Mr. Garcia and Mrs. Blue, for without their helpfulness, the year could not have been so beneficial. 7 ' Q Y t 3 I 1 . . . , tt til. it f OUR OFFICERS-Left to Right: Tony Iohnson, President: Ann Rarnenotsky, Vice President, Bar- bara Kelly, Secretaryy Doris Bail- ey, Treasurer.
