The Business Education Department was charac¬ terized by continuation. This department, as always, aimed at preparing its students for careers in the business world soon, if not immediately, after high school. Courses ranged from accounting to the more common typing. It continued its use of new curricu¬ lum and techniques in its more recently developed courses of Office Machines and Co-operative Office Occupations. Often the latter course placed students in part-time jobs for on-the-job training during select¬ ed afternoons of the school week. BUSINESS EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
