We dedicate this l956 Pemican to High Point High School. We dedicate not merely to the stone and the brick of which the building is made, to us, the real meaning of the school must be expressed in its ideals and high purposes for which it was founded. These purposes have been realized through the tour years in which we have claimed High Point High School as our own. The campus where we have spent many hours, the corridors down which we have walked leisurely, or sped madly in tear of being late, the classrooms in which we have is struggled tor knowledge - with these our memories linger. The football games, the proms, the plays, that term paper - these shall we remember. Friendships, joys, pains . . . each experience has had its small measure in the whole ot our high school lives. This building - the stone and the brick -- is no longer ours . . . the memories we shall carry with us as we graduate. Therefore, we the seniors, dedicate the l956 Pemican to High Point High School . . . a memory . . . dear to our hearts it will ever be. L20

It is with mixed emotions that we, the graduating seniors, leave our beloved High Point High School. For it is the friendships and experiences shared here, which in later years we will hold in our hearts as dearest.
