The team finished the year undefeated and untied. In the State Championship contest High Point had five State champions. Larry Brown was lO3-pound champion. Albert Gray and Richard Hallman were l33-and l65-pound champions respectively. L. G. Wilson was the winner in the l75-pound bracket, while Jim Boggs won the heavyweight title. Other leaders on the team were Clyde Wood, Joe Jones, Buddy Snotherly, and Bill Butler. These boys are developing their muscles for their next match.
