Helping to make the general oflice one of the friendliest spots of H.P.H.S. is our school secretary, Mrs. Johnsie Jackson. She works constantly, managing the reports and affairs of the oflice. She is never too busy to give everyone her special smile. Her winning per- sonality has made her a favorite with all of the students. We owe much to Iohnsie, who has helped to make our green years happier through her service in the general office. , Lending their smiles and assistance to the general oflice are the busy girls of Mrs. J 's staff. Continually answering the telephone, helping with the Bling, and delivering messages to students, they are very essential personalities in the office.

Both have been essential and capable advisers for the many boys who needed assistance in making important decisions. N 14 ST Miss Anna Mendenhall, our dean of girls, is always ready to offer at X 1 ix- her friendly advice and expert guidance to the many students who confide in her. 2 5 Assisting Mrs. Jackson in the general olhce is Mrs. Doris Teague, our school registrar. She, too, is always ready to give everyone a friendly smile. Sub- stituting for teachers, registering new students, and helping seniors with their college applications - these duties have made her well-known to H.P.H.S. jim? Ay giving pporfomilfied or xfoerience Looking up schedules, taking phone calls, and just doing any task they can to help you-these are some of the most familiar duties known to the general office staff. Caught perform- ing one of these duties, Anne and Patty kindly permit our photographer to interfere. Cheerfully and willingly two general office girls, Anne Salley and Patty Peacock, do a daily chore of getting schedule information.
