Beginning Choir The Beginning Choir was orga- nized this year to present a greater num- ber of students with the opportunity of singing in a choir. The specific goal of the newly-formed group is to raise the level of the entire vocal music program at Central, with the addition of more and better groups. Beginning Choir, composed of nearly 110 voices, meets sixth hour under the direction of Mr. Ronald Miller. Some of the choir's activities included performances at the Christmas Program, at the Spring Concert, and at the Statewide P.T.A. Meeting. Junior Choir is organized to give students experience and training before entering A Cappella Choir. Directed by Mr. L. D. Shuler, the choir is composed primarily of sophomores and juniors. Junior Choir performed at the All City Music Clinic and the Christmas Program. They Worked with A Cappella on the Spring Program and presented the opera, '4DoWn in the Valley, at the Spring Workshop.
