Heralding the coming of Arthur to the throne was the proclamation that he had won his first quest-the sacred diploma- from Midland Kingdom. And it was decreed in the year nine- teen hundred and forty-four that J. Arthur Nelson would rule over Centralia. Aided so ably by J. Jay Planteen, known far and wide as Sir Galahad, King Arthur brought fame to the fortress atop the hill. In the words of Sir Arthur: The King- dom of Centralia-may it always flourish with a high standard of scholarship and the opportunity for every race, color, religion and nationality to become acquainted.
