 tq o Do you know: The new Central High building was started in 1910 and completed in 1914. It was built on the former camping grounds of the world famous Barnum and Bailey Circus. While the building was originally built to accommodate 1,800pupils, in 1925 there were over 3,000 students attending Central. In Honor Of Mr. Hamilton will always be remembered as the man who made Central High School's Band something to be proud of. In the three years that he was here he did more to instill pride in our school than ever before. Many would say that Mr. Hamilton is one of the nicest, sincer-est, and most understanding teachers around. We've lost a lot by his leaving, but we've gained a tradition to keep. The sounds of “CHS will ring through the class of 80's ears, as they remember one of the most special teachers Central has seen. Mrs. Frazier has been here at Central for ten years as an aide to the principal. Mrs. Frazier has been through some good and bad times. She is liked by all of the students, she is a very sweet and warm person. She is also a mother to all those in need of help. Mrs. Frazier has been blessed and we care for her a lot. We don't know how much longer she will be here, but when the time comes for her to go, we will miss her. Mrs. Frazier, we say thank you, and the class of “80 will never forget you!
