This Homecoming Day was a positive sign of Central's progression. The big day began with the crowning of King John Demmings and Queen Sue Bach. After the King and Queen took their thrones, the talent show began. The talent show was very exciting and smoothly done with its many different dances, songs and musical talents. During the show the Central Pioneers showed that the Pioneer spirit was alive and kicking. The spirit continued through an afternoon of activities provided by the students. The activities consisted of a T. V. room to catch up on the soaps, a coffee house for poetry reading, a student-faculty volleyball game, a dance contest, and a chance to hit one of your favorite teachers or friends in the face with a pie. Even after our homecoming game, which we need not mention, the Pioneer spirit was still going strong. And the Spirit was well alive into the homecoming dance with music provided by Lewis Connection.
