GEMUTLICHE GRUPPE The German Club, one of the most active groups, had a fall picnic and sold mistletoe at Christmas time. This year as in the past the German Club had their annual spring banquet. Miller Mike and Jim at work as Marc scrutinizes a prospective front page. 23 Continually on the lookout for hit'll school happenings, the News Staff at Central keeps students informed of school events. Under the capable leadership of their advisor. Mr. latter, and the editor-in-chief. Mare Mauseth, this group of diligent Centralitcs attempted to give a critical and interesting analysis l the news. Members of the Centralian Stall worked laboriously to produce a yearbook modern in concept and design. The 1%7 Centralian embodied an addition of 16 pages and featured Duotone candids of tempo blue ink. The Centralian auditorium, Highlights and Fantasy, was so successful that 7 5 extra copies were ordered over the previous high for ‘66. Amid the turmoil of deadlines and astonishing exertion, the l% Centralian Stall proved that students can create a first-rate yearbook.

This year the Spanish Club, guided by Miss Kinnear, has developed a deeper understanding of Spain, its customs, and people. The Spanish Club had a fall picnic, the annual paper pick up, a Christmas party with the traditional breaking of the pinata, and a Mexican style banquet.
