I CENTRAL HOMECOMING On the morning of September 23, 1966, there was excitement in the air at Central High School. Today homecoming activities would officially begin. Students milled in the halls dressed in their pioneer costumes. In the afternoon students, faculty, and alumni impatiently waited to see the crowning of the 1966 Homecoming queen. The Ladies of the Court advanced and took their places. Next the five lovely princesses came on stage. After a few suspenseful moments Carl Mabonc, football captain, chose Kay Campbell to reign over all the activities. Through the fine efforts of co-chairmen Devin Kalpiers and Tom Falck and other committee members, the program was excellent. After the program Centralitcs were eager to see our football team, “Shred the Reds.” After a thrilling and hard fought battle, Ccntralites returned home to prepare for the “Autumn Haze” dance. The dance was a huge success. 'The entire student body deserves to be congratulated for participating to make this the best homecoming Central has ever had.
