Christopherson The Spanish Club is one of the more active clubs at Central. It contributes to school activities, national and international projects, as well as raising money to pay part of the expenses for the biennial trip to Mexico. Under the able supervision of Mrs. Olson, the Spanish Club sponsored the first dance of the year, the Christmas dance, a hay ride, and the Spanish Club Senior Banquet. I OFFICERS I believe in character as the foundation of life, and in scholarship as a means to achievement; in leadership as an aid to progress; in service as the object and end I of living.” , There are four qualifications for membership in the National Honor Society — good character, scholarship, leadership, and service. The members try to provide scholastic leadership and service to Central. The year has been very busy with the selling of candy to defray the expenses of a trip to Chicago. Two dances were held which were the Turkey Whirl and the Madcap Capers. The annual party for honor sophomores was given in March. To climax the year, the Honor Society held the formal induction and reception for parents and friends.
