CHORAL READERS There's something new at Central this year. Yes, it’s a choral reading group. Under the direction of Mrs. Stassen, this group has made up many of its own choral arrangements. Although the group is new, they have performed at many various functions, including Homecoming, the Christmas program, the Soroptomists Club, and at other schools. We wish continued success to this new group, and we hope to see more of them in the future. Clock wit : J. Smith, O'Reilly, Krebs, Donielton, Brenner, I. Johnton, Clausen, Stephens, Officer MIMES AND MUMMERS Mimes and Mummers, our dramatic club, has offered wonderful experience and dramatic training for all its members. Auditions were held in October, and new members were added to the group, making a total of thirty members. Those people trying out for membership in the group ore graded on their poise, clarity of voice, stage presence, and interpretation. ROW ): Hansen, Amireault, Mrs. Townsend, logon, Dahlberg, leland. ROW 11 Bernord, Winsor, Wolfrom, Allman, Kupka. ROW 2i Mr. Sandeen, Gorger, Doty, lotourneau, Oyt. STAGE CREW... Few people realize how much time and planning must go into the backgrounds of our concerts, plays, and all of our assemblies. The boys who really deserve a large amount of credit for the smooth running of all of our programs are the boys on stage crew. These are the boys who never share the glory, and, yet are always blamed when things go wrong. We thank them for their continually fine job. PROJECTION CREW... Each member of the audio-visual staff has been well trained for the various jobs connected with their organization, and each one has a general knowledge of Central's moving picture and sound equipment. These people willingly give up their free hours to show movies to our classes so we may learn by seeing. We certainly owe this group our thanks for helping us gain an education through visual aids. ROW 11 Mr. Suter, Frory, Christenson, loomer, Tollefson, Ingram. ROW 2i Swedenborg, Miller, Dahl-berg, P. Peterson, Schroedor, Port. ROW 3: Melgoord, Ekstedt, Parker, Schoenrock, Wesllund, Fulkerson. 28
