The News brings to the student the highlights of school life that surround him. These include sports activities, assemblies, articles of advice, a gossip column, and jokes. Every year the News Staff presents two assemblies at the beginning of each semester. The purpose of the assemblies is to acquire subscribers for the News. Every student attending Central High School has reason for being proud of its paper. The Central High News has won many awards, both state and national, because of its outstanding quality and form.
