Opening strains of the lmand's Christmas concert were heard as the curtains parted and the audience viewed for the first time. the new hand uniforms. Projects for raising money' for the uniforms oeeupied much of the memliers time during the first part of the year. ln lfehruaryg a convert was given for all who donated toward the Cause. One of its first appearances was playing at the colorful footlrall preview at the Parade Stadium. A pertornlanee of the lnanu that will long he remember- ed yy as at Homecoming. 'llhey also put us in high spirits when they played for many of our pep assemblies. Many times, rather than the entire hand, small groups played for lyllxlis. civic organizations, and athletic events. Vlfe are very' proud of our band and directer, Mr. Miles, and look forward to their many' appearances next year.
