Mr. Miles Mr. Rohde, Miss Bell Miss Bireline Miss Thompson, Mrs. Brice Our counselor's job, an equally important part of our movie, includes guiding the stars in choosing their courses, finding jobs for them, and conducting the senior college aptitude test and the Kuder vocational test. The art classes teach our actors how to express themselves through the use of the brush and pen. Sketching, illustrations, and commercial art are among the courses offered to the more talented. The library, one of Central's busiest places, is our movie research department. Here our actors find information for any assignment, and a large selection of fiction and periodicals. Music is essential in the production of any movie. Central's music groups furnish the stars with entertainment, and, at the same time, they strive to create an appreciation of good music. 7

The producer's job in any movie is important, for it is he who must be responsible for the success of the entire production. Mr. Blume has striven to make Central the great producer of stars that it is today. The reward for his efforts is his recent recognition in Who's Who as one of the nation's top educators. Mr. Blume, this year's cast salutes you for your part in the production of our movie. (bnJiAJvtj-p'iy The director's position for our movie is filled by Mr. Anderson. He is not only concerned with seeing that the direction of the movie is running smoothly, but also in serving as the studio guard. The many friends he has gained in his two years at Central prove that he is a capable and well-liked director. Mr. Anderson takes his place next to Mr. Blume in directing our movie. Our thanks to you, Mr. Anderson, for a job well done in Central Studios. 6

Mrs. M. Sellers Mr. J. Mulligan, Mrs. I. Whiting, Miss L. Grosz Miss I. Parked, Mrs. H. Gamble, Mrs. M Adams Miss E. Liskey, Miss L Utley It is through the study of English that Central's stars learn to express themselves accurately and concisely, and prepare themselves to be successful script writers. In addition, by studying the world's ,famed writers and poets, they learn to appreciate the literature of the past and present. After completing a year of sophomore English, they look forward to creative writing, news, and American literature as juniors. The senior stars are kept busy with a year of English literature and Gale essays. Another important contribution to our movie industry is the language department. It helps the stars when on location in faraway lands and in the production of foreign language films.
