Mr. Blume The most important public figure in a village is the mayor, and Mr. Blume is no exception. His job is a formidable one. Plus fulfilling all of the executive duties connected with Centralville, he generously volunteered to be the adviser of our village yearbook, which will aid it in attaining the highest goal possible. Other cities have tried to compete with us, but all are certain that we have surpassed them in every respect, mainly because of our executive body. And so to you, Mr. Blume, we shall always endeavor to give our utmost respect and cooperation. Mr. Anderson Mr. Anderson is the chief of police in our village. Even though this is his first term in Centralville, he has proven to be very worthy of his position. His job is a difficult one, as it is his task to see that order is kept at Centralville. He takes care of the few who are negligent of their obligations, by imposing a fine of detentions upon them. Frequently, Mr. Anderson is seen going in ond out of buildings colled study halls, seeing that everything is running smoothly. To you, Mr. Anderson, our village wishes to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation. 6
