They swab the decks and rig the mast heads for every performance. These accomplished mechanics combined forces to produce such outstanding effects as the Pinafore setting . . . class play staging . . . and Homecoming. Then, there are the innumerable little missions these fellows carry out. that the rest of the ship’s mates often overlook. How about those early pre-advisory jam sessions emanatinq from the hold back-stage . . . those films, run off by one of the stalwart Sampson's of the Stage Crew for first aid, health, biology, chemistry, physics, botany, radio workshop, and the social science classes . . . their appreciated labors at movie assemblies. Every group that has ever given a stage presentation has deeply felt the aid, co-operation, and time contributed by the crew of their own free will. These deck hands are the ones who see that the P.A. system is ready for use. a job ably performed by Bob Pearson. Ronald Clabo was the boy behind the spotlight, who created those chromatic lighting effects. Yes, true to its colors, the stage crew has operated effectively under the management of Phil Opsal. The bosses at work. Firebug Opsal is thwarted.
