The members are all becoming commissioned officers under the direction of the new Commodore. Harold Miles, who is proving himself to be a musician first class. Have you ever heard a concert band play a symphony? This band did it at their big concert in March. It was conducted in a regal way with no one else but Miss America as guest soloist. Band members have also obtained liberty and appeared on shore at other high schools in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. 17

This year's cruise is being used as a practice session by our aspiring choral group.
