JOHN N. GREER was principal of Central for twenty-five years, from 1892 to 1917, resigning to become assistant superintendent. His predecessors were Benjamin Knerr. 1878 to 1885. and J. S. Crombie, 1886 to 1892. LOU N. MC WHORTER was Central's first assistant principal. He is now assistant superintendent. His immediate successor was Charles W. Boardman, who is now a Professor of Education at the University of Minnesota.
