ET CAB N SS LA C RS N :E . , Determining the activities and policies of the Iune Class was a very competent class cabinet consisting of seventeen memhers. Heading the cabinet Were the four class oflicers, Roy lohnson, Presidentg Dorothy Egekvist, Vice-President: Frances Ann Roll, Secretary, and Bill Sanford, Treasurer. The remainder of the cabinet was composed ol' the following: Carleton Todd and Elinor Horn, Chair- man and Suh-Chairman of the Class Play Committeeg Harold Melahn and Roh Hall, Chairman and Sulv-Chairman ol' the Memorial Committeeg Dorothy Ege- kvist and Marion Gronvall, Chairman and Suh-Chairman of the Class Day Com- mitteeg Helen Browning and Cordon liorlaug, Chairman and Sub-Chairman of the Program Committeeg Prank Hicks and Irma Lou Peterson, Chairman and Sub-Chairman of the Utility Coinmitteeg Virginia liorgman and Paul Nelson, Chairman and Sub-Chairman of the Picture Committee, and Bob Hovda and Helen McVVaide, Chairman and Sulv-Chairman ol' the Publicity Committee. Each committee included live or six other memhers in addition to the two chair- men. One of the activities which the class cahinet supervised was the College Day Reception. Various colleges of Minnesota sent representatives to Central, and MAN Seniors were allowed to visit whichever they wished during their Eng- lish periods. The cabinet also planned the Class Party toward the end of the term and performed many other services to the class with the aid of the class advisers. Mr. Rohde, Miss Reed, Miss Thorvilson and Miss Lohdell. The top scholastic honor of valedictorian was lor the lirst time in many years at Central awarded to three students-Betty lirude, Elinor Horn and Paul Nelson.
