REPRESENTATIVE CENTRALITES IANUARY '35 REPRESENTATIVE CENTRALITES, you are to be con- gratulated. In scholarship, in athletics, in almost every type of activity at Central, you represent the best we have to offer. Heading the list are the four class officers. Howard Taylor, senior class president, made Central's name known in state tennis circles by winning the State Doubles Championship in 1933. Marion Bennett, vice-president of the class, was presi- dent of Girls, Club and a Girls' Cn winner. Don Harley, as class treasurer, was a member of the Student Council and the Class Cabinet. Virginia Trepanier was a capable secretary for the Ianuary class and an active participant in all girls, activities at Central. In scholarship, Dorothy Whitney, valedic- torian, and Thomas Aldrich, salutatorian, were truly leaders. Dorothy played one of the leading roles in the class play, Thomas was on the business staff of the Ccntralian and in the class play cast. Bob Lundborg held the position of Editor-in- Chief of the News. Helen Lundborg was Bob's able assistant as School Editor of the News, and both were M. H. S. P.A. delegates and members of the Quill and Scroll. Marjorie Beau- pre was chosen to reign as queen over the 1935 Homecoming, and was president of Girls' Club. In the field of sports Central was well represented by Les Henninger, member of the foot- ball teams of '32, '33, and '34, and of the C Club.
