Don’t the years just seem to fly by? Before you know it you are a freshman in high school and things are going to be different! For the first time in ages you have no idea where first period is — you'd just like to know where you're going. The worst part is being considered sec- ond-class,because you are a measely freshman; you used to be TOP- DOG at Miller. BOY ARE THINGS DIFFERENT! Some of the sophomores still feel like the new kid on the block. At Lanier B you can’t even get through the halls to begin the search for the right class. When you finally find the room you realize it’s been almost ten minutes since the last bell rang. To compound the anxiety the class you have been searching for is biology — the class you've been dreading all summer. Juniors are often frustrated because the seniors have privileges and are all ready enjoying the honor. As a junior you do have more responsi- bilities than either a sophomore or a freshman — you start making the foundation for the rest of your life. SCARY! In less than two years you are going to be out there on your own. Then you're finally a senior! There are senior privileges — leaving on the first bell, the senior porch,going to first lunch,and having the Lanier B parking lot to yourselves. A senior must decide what to do after June 6. College? The Armed Forces? Full-time empolyment? Now that's when you realize the importance of the time you put into your classes. All twelve years have prepared you for life after graduation. Seniors realize that our teachers were right, all doors are open and the opportu- nities are endless. Often you wish you had listened a little more so that you would be more prepared. After June 6 things are going to be different! BOY ARE THEY GOING TO BE DIFFERENT! Where to now?
