Ready, set, go! and the students are off! It's 2:15, the bell has rung and locker doors are opening and siam ming. Loud voices sound down the hall as everyone pushes and shoves to get out of the building. Soon the halls are empty, waiting for tomorrow and another busy day Although the halls are empty, the campus grounds are filled with hoards of people and cars. The parking lots are mass confusion as everyone tries to leave, But first there are a few obstacies in the way, Everyone hates those speed breakers, “Who needs them!?! , you say. So in trying to avoid them you take « curb instead Then there are those who do not drive and are forced to wait for a ride from aa upperclassman, « parent, or worst of all, the dreaded school bus. But hey. riding “the big cheese” is nor all that bad as long as you get your seat in the back of the bus, At least you get to catch up on all of the day's gossip; and as for taking the curbs, those bus drivers are pros. They know just when to hit the curb so that all of your books fall off the rack and the third person on the seat falls on the floor So, no matter what the method of transportation is everyone eventually leaves. Finally the campus grounds are cleared and silence awaits a whole new day of the ever-popular “ratrace
