al yj Work! Work! Work! When we need extra money, it’s good to have a job. Sometimes it’s even fun! Those of us who have jobs really know we're lucky since there are not too many jobs available for teenagers right now — thank’s to the slow economy. There are times, though, when it’s just not convenient to have to go to work. It interferes with our social life. We have to make sacrifices. Homecoming, Junior-Senior, out-of-town football games are just not planned to fit into the schedule of the business world. When these situations arise, we have “to make the best of it.” So ... what do we do? We goof off at work! Those of us who work at clothing stores model the merchandise for friends who are “on break.” Cookie salespersons sample their wares Incredibly! The Rubik's cube is a sure cure for an “idle mind.” The time clock (our best friend at work) slowly t-i-c-k-s its way toward freedom and Olympia, the movies, or the favorite “gathering place” where our friends await us.
