We used and enjoyed new equipment In the business, science, and languages departments we had wonderful new equipment—typewriters. record plavers. tape recorders, microscopes, charts, . . . Tatum and her parents admire a beauti- ful box of bugs-... ugh! .. . leyball . . . The game was much more exciting than that score showed! Our parents and friends—they all came on November ‘ ; the twelfth. That night the exhibit of Beta Club was a popular spot.

We were guinea pigs in Chemistry as new methods ty minutes of film every day tried on us! and in American History as a Miller graduate. now a college senior, did her practice teaching. We had interrupted classes ee we had fire drills . . . sometimes with planned blocked exits. We'll remember the pounding, the noise, the disturbance as the building was made safe . . . but we can’t miss those exits now... in Homemaking as we tried to learn the art of making corsages . . . and flower ar- rangements, We went outside a for Gym. . . on all days . . . in the hot and in the cold . . . for soccer, hockey. and exer- : ' cises!

As we teased... joked... listened... waited our turns at the telephone. We'll never forget those squeals, tears of joy. and smiles as girls were tapped for Beta. We sketched. we measured, we painted: we had about us both the curious and the critical as we worked on scenery for the play. Purple sheets! When we saw teachers form that line at the ditto ma- chine... . — : its e lived in suspense 4 ; :, | hen we murdered a classmate! It all happened so realistically in our Senior play (but we really did not).
